Humanitarian Affairs would like to invite you to represent Hungary at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand for the Global Green Summit 2022 and Global Peace Summit 2023.

Humanitarian Affairs would like to invite you to represent Hungary at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand for the Global Green Summit 2022 and Global Peace Summit 2023.  

Humanitarian Affairs is a UN affiliated organisation which creates youth empowerment events and programmes so young people may lead the change in building a peaceful, inclusive and sustainable world.

Their work and programmes have been recongnised globally at the highest levels of international governance – A remarkable civil society organization that has a fine record of engaging young people in volunteer humanitarian work, thereby providing creative avenues for young people to develop good citizenship and leadership skills while benefiting disadvantaged communities.” – United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

The Green Summit (13th -16th December 2022) and Peace Summit (11th – 13th January 2023) offer…

  • The opportunity for your students represent their country at a global forum.
  • The chance to participate in workshops and activities that includes subject-specific knowledge from experts in the field
  • The offer to become a Humanitarian Affairs Ambassador after the summit.
  • The development of transferable skills for future and current employment, such as leadership and public speaking. Past delegates have gone onto work in: Diplomacy, Governance and Policy, Advocacy and pressure-group work, NGO work, Social Research, Charity work, Social enterprises.
  • The opportunity to network with an international community, who will be the global leaders of tomorrow 

Their website provides a comprehensive breakdown of the registration costs and the different packages available to prospective delegates. Attached to this email is also the Green Summit 2022 Brochure and the Peace Summit 2023 Brochure, which provide a detailed overview of our summits.

If you wish to apply to either of the Summits, you should fill out the Green Summit Delegate Application Form or the Peace Summit Delegate Application Form and send it to Mia Sawjani at globalteam2@humanitarianaffairs.asia –you will hear if your application has been successful within 2 working days. 

As places at our summits are limited, and students from universities all across the world have been invited, we encourage interested students to apply as soon as possible – once we reach capacity, we will unfortunately no longer be able to consider applications. 

The deadline for Green Summit applications is 30th October and the deadline for Peace Summit applications is 20th November.
